Police say endangered Brooklyn Park man missing for weeks "located safe"

Update (May 5, 2025): Police say the missing man has been located safe and have canceled the missing person alert. Read the previous story below. 

An endangered missing person alert has been issued for a Brooklyn Park man.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the man was last seen around 5 p.m. on April 20 leaving his group home near Meadowood Court.

On Monday, the Brooklyn Park Police Department announced the man had "been located safe."
