Elk River Man Claims $1 Million Lottery Prize

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The second of two Minnesota Millionaire raffle winners has come forward to claim his prize, according to officials with the Minnesota State Lottery.

Officials said Robert Hans of Elk River came forward on Wednesday to claim his $1 million prize. He purchased his ticket at a Holiday gas station store in Ramsey.

The other $1 million winners, Alan and Patricia Potter of Waterville, claimed their prize on Jan. 2.

The prizes in the raffle included two for $1 million, five for $100,000, five for $25,000, 10 for $10,000, 100 for $500 and 4,000 for $100. The Minnesota State Lottery also offered 38 bonus prizes.

There were 700,000 tickets sold for the raffle.
