Edina Police Search For Pharmacy Robber

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Edina Police are looking for a pharmacy robber who was caught in an unflattering position in surveillance photos.

Police says a man robbed the CVS Pharmacy at 6905 York Avenue Thursday just before 7 p.m.

He jumped a pharmacy counter and forced an employee to open a safe containing oxycodone and hydrocodone.

Police say the man, who is either white of Latino, is 6 feet tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He wore a maroon hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white shoes and dark-colored gloves.

Another suspect is said to have been waiting outside in a black sedan. Police believe the same suspects also robbed a pharmacy in Richfield that same night.
