Early Voting Starts Friday In Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – This Friday, Minnesotans can cast their ballots in the up-coming presidential election.

In Minneapolis, voters can cast their ballots by mail or in-person at four locations around the city.

Those locations are:

-- The Downtown Early Voting Center on 217 Third Street
-- The North Early Vote Center on 2100 Plymouth Ave. N. in the Minneapolis Urban League building
-- The South Early Vote Center on 1860 E. 28th St., in the former Roof Depot building
-- and the Northeast Early Vote Center, 2516 Central Ave. NE in the Water Bar building

The city says that any voter can vote early, and that the standard hours for absentee voting are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Those who want to vote early will want to make sure they're registered. If they're not registered to vote, they can do so here.

Absentee ballot applications can also be downloaded and completed before one goes to the voting place.

For those who want to wait until Election Day, polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.
