Duluth Authorities Pull Man From Submerged Car

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — A man has been hospitalized after being rescued from a submerged car in St. Louis Bay in Duluth Saturday morning.

Duluth authorities received reports of a car submerged in a boat slip in the St. Louis Bay at 2:18 a.m. Saturday. First responders quickly pulled the lone occupant, an unidentified male, out of the car.

The man was transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.

The vehicle was eventually removed from the water. The Duluth Fire Department says the man's car appears to be the only vehicle involved in the incident.
