Donate To The Great American Milk Drive

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Most kids are now enjoying summer break, but for some without school lunch, they'll miss out on getting milk.

June is National Dairy Month and the Great American Milk Drive is firing up. Its goal is to make sure kids still get the milk they need during the summer months.

Since starting in 2014, the milk drive has helped more than 17,000 Minnesota families.

Alexandra Larson of the Midwest Dairy Association, and Bob Chatmas of Second Harvest Heartland were on hand to discuss the initiative.
