Trump Foresees 'Really, Really Big Victory' In Wisconsin

SUPERIOR, Wis. (WCCO) – Thousands of Donald Trump supporters lined up in Superior hours before the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination was set to speak at a campaign rally ahead of the state's important primary.

While public opinion polls show Trump trailing rival Sen. Ted Cruz in the Badger State, the flamboyant businessman's performance on Monday didn't show it. An animated Trump led the crowd in a chant of "Lyin' Ted, lyin' Ted."

Even if Trump's supporters say they're not always comfortable with everything the candidate says, they're happy he's speaking their language.

"He shoots from the hip, and he calls a spade a spade," said one man at the rally.

Trump is predicting a surprise victory in Wisconsin on Tuesday driven by angry workers who lost jobs due to bad trade deals.

He says he'll give Wisconsin voters a chance for payback.

"We're led by stupid people, folks," Trump said during the rally. "We can't do it anymore."
