MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Recently we told you that some researchers do not agree with the 5 second rule. Now, researchers are sounding off on another topic that may not sit well with dog lovers.

Those doggy kisses you may look forward to may not be the best for you.

The research says some bacteria in dogs' mouths can be passed along to humans and cause disease.

But they also add a normal lick to the hand shouldn't cause problems for a healthy person.
