DNR EagleCam Back Online After Injured Eaglet's Removal

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The DNR's popular "EagleCam" is back up and running after It was turned off Friday while an injured eaglet was removed from the nest.

The executive director of the University of Minnesota Raptor Center says the eaglet received emergency care Friday night and Saturday morning.

Their initial diagnosis is a severely-injured elbow, hock and signs of an infection. The prognosis is poor.

The DNR originally said it would not interfere with the nest, but then changed their approach.
