DeRusha Eats: Gray Duck Chai In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It started with one cup of chai tea a young chef brought to her restaurant coworker. That tea sparked a growing, successful company -- and a loving, romantic relationship.

DeRusha Eats takes a look inside Gray Duck Chai, a commercial kitchen and small – but growing – bottling line in St. Paul.

Jon Alden and Katey Niebur are the dreamers who founded the business.

Katey was an oyster chef at Meritage Restaurant and Jon was a server.

"When she made chai for me the first time, we got inspired together and started doing this," he said.
