Departing Wolves Player Throws Party For Underprivileged Youth

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Corey Brewer may have been traded from the Timberwolves, but before he left, he helped set up a nice party for underprivileged youth.

The kids were given lunch and there were fun activities, including pictures with Santa.

Plus, each child went home with a toy for Christmas.

"It's a feeling like none other," said Monique Mongalo, an organizer of the event. "These kids' faces when they smile and light up because there are all these toys--it's amazing, it's amazing."
