Decisions To Be Made On Fate Of Prince's Estate
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Carver County judge will begin Monday to decide what to do with Prince's multi-million dollar estate.
Last week, a judge appointed Bremer Trust to act as a temporary special administrator to keep his business running.
As his estate is sorted out, the question remains on whether painkillers had some role in his death.
A law enforcement source confirmed for CBS News that prescription painkillers were found in Prince's possession when he died at his Paisley Park home.
The medical examiner still hasn't released information on how Prince died.
Celebrity gossip website TMZ is reporting that Prince traveled several miles to pick up prescription pills in Minnetonka hours before his death.
They say the singer drove by at least eight pharmacies close to Paisley Park.
TMZ reports his family said they were worried the singer was using multiple doctors and aliases.
Meanwhile, Prince's fans aren't as focused on how he died, but the legacy he left behind.
For the second weekend in a row, hundreds wore purple and gathered to celebrate his life.
On Saturday, there was a block party at Sabathani Community Center in the artist's old neighborhood.
The celebrations were slated to continue Sunday in northeast Minneapolis, where a family-friendly dance party was scheduled at the Eastside Neighborhood Services Building.
The party goes from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
