Man Found Dead In Minn. Valley National Wildlife Refuge

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities in Bloomington are investigating after a body was found at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Thursday morning.

According to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, deputies and Bloomington police officers responded at around 8:30 a.m. to a 911 call of a body found in the creek at the refuge.

Upon arrival, first responders found a man dead in the creek.

At this point, no foul play is suspect. The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

The man's identity and cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.
