Body Discovered In Duluth's Canal Park, Reports Say

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A dead body has been retrieved from a storm sewer in Duluth's Canal Park, according to reports.

The body was discovered at about 1 p.m. Thursday by employees with the public works department.

Police said the body had partially decomposed, and was being sent to the Twin Cities for a medical examiner to determine the exact cause of death.

The public works employees were on the scene to conduct routine maintenance on a public restroom.
