Daisy Dillman Band Reunites After Long Absence

HOPKINS, Minn. (AP) — A Minnesota country rock band is getting back together after a three-decade absence.

The Daisy Dillman Band plans to release its first album in 34 years.

The band was popular in the 1970s and '80s and recorded for major labels United Artists and RCA. But except for some one-off concerts in the early 2000s, the group has been on hiatus.

Next month, The Daisy Dillman Band will release "Radio," a 10-song album of original material.

The reunited band features four of the five original members. The group will release its new album with a live show Jan. 10 at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.

In 2006, The Daisy Dillman Band was inducted into the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame.
