Dairy Queen Confirms Potential Data Breach

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Edina-based Dairy Queen is the latest company hit by cyber criminals, as an undisclosed number of stores have reportedly been hit by a data breach.

According to Brian Krebs, an online security journalist who also broke the news about Target's massive breach, data including customers' credit and debit card information may have been lifted.

Dairy Queen officials confirmed that a "limited number" of stores may be at risk.

Dairy Queen has several thousand stores in North America, and some of the stores may have been compromised as early as June.
