Crews Prep For Winter Carnival With Snow Stomping

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's almost time for the St. Paul Winter Carnival!

There's still a lot of prep to do before the carnival begins, and crews are working Saturday to get things ready.

Their first task is to prep for the snow sculpture competition.

Crews are making the giant snow blocks that the sculptures use at the state fairgrounds Saturday afternoon.

If you'd like to watch the action, or volunteer to do some snow stomping, head to the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
