MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- On Monday, the U.S. death toll reached a grim milestone, surpassing 10,000. According to researchers at Johns Hopkins University, there are more than 368,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country. Meanwhile across the Atlantic, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is battling the novel coronavirus, is in intensive care.

- 6:03 p.m. In a letter to Minneapolis city workers that was obtained by WCCO, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey discusses several budget freezes that are coming to the city.
- 4:51 p.m. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison wins a legal challenge against a landlord for illegally evicting a Sandstone family during the pandemic.
- 4:48 p.m. President Donald Trump approves Minnesota Disaster Declaration.
- 4:24 p.m. Ramsey Co. Sheriff's Office requests masks for vulnerable community members.
- 3:18 p.m. Hennepin Technical College faculty distribute free groceries to students who need assistance.

- 1:35 a.m. President Donald Trump says the USNS Comfort docked in New York will now be open to coronavirus patients. It was initially supposed to hold only non-COVID-19 patients.
