MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Department of Health has released the names of 32 senior living and other long-term care homes where residents or staffers have tested positive for COVID-19.
Here are all of the the latest updates on the coronavirus pandemic:
- 5:48 p.m.: Wisconsin GOP appeals to Supreme Court on extended voting amid COVID-19 pandemic.
- 4:51 p.m.: Metro Transit ridership has dropped significantly since COVID-19 outbreak.
- 2:27 p.m.: Wisconsin now has 2,112 positive cases of COVID-19, 588 hospitalizations, and 56 deaths.
- 1 p.m.: Organizers say planning and preparations continue for the 2020 Minnesota State Fair, "despite the uncertainties of the day."
- 11 a.m.: Two more Minnesotans have died of COVID-19, according to the Minnesota Department of Health's daily update. State health officials have also begun releasing the names of long-term care facilities with known outbreaks.
- 9 a.m.: There are now more than 278,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States.
- 8:10 a.m.: Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith joined a group urging the Presidential administration to "ensure the continuity of food supply by supporting farmers during the COVID-19 pandemic."
- 5 a.m.: New road closures went into effect for Cedar Lake Parkway and Lake of the Isles Parkway -- along with an extension of a closure enacted last week on West River Parkway -- joining closures already in place for Lake Harriet Parkway, Lake Nokomis Parkway and Main Street SE.
