Cops Find Steel Drum Band's Stolen Parade Float

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- We have some good news to report about a story from earlier this week. Police in Crystal say they've found a parade float that had been stolen.

The Zurah Shriner Steel Drum Band uses the float for parades throughout the summer. They say it was stolen last weekend, and they had to cancel going to parades.

But police say they found it at Rum River Park.

The thieves took a generator and amplifier off the trailer, but there's no other damage.

The band is hoping to have it ready for a parade in Faribault in a couple weeks.
