Coon Rapids Police Trying To ID Suspect In Attempted Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Coon Rapids police are looking for help identifying a suspect in the attempted robbery of Angels Food Market.

A suspect entered the grocery store around 10:20 a.m. on Jan. 17. He placed a bag on the counter and demanded money of the cashier.

The man left in a two-door goldish beige hatchback without taking any money.

Surveillance footage captured two photos of the suspect, a white man about 5-feet-8-inches tall, 160 pounds, with some facial hair.

The Coon Rapids Crime Prevention Association is offering a reward following an arrest and conviction.
