Como Zoo & Conservatory Hosts Winter Flower Show

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Winter is in full bloom right now at the Como Park Conservatory.

The Winter Flower Show is in full swing at the conservatory and a huge variety of sights and smells are on display, all for free!

"You know, we're the second-most visited tourist attraction in Minnesota. We get nearly 2 million people a year here. People come here because they have a connection with Como, they love Como. I have pictures of myself in this garden, right here, when I was 6-years-old," spokesperson Matt Reinartz said.

The Zoo & Conservatory ask for a small donation if you do visit, but you're under no obligation.

Check out the Winter Flower Show now through March 15.

On Sunday evenings the free Music Under Glass series brings live music into the Conservatory.

And Sunday morning from 8 to 10 a.m., artists and photographers can bring their tripod, or easel, in to capture the beauty for $5 per person.
