Community Raises Concerns Over Metro Mobility Response Times

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Advocates for citizens with special needs said they have a list of questions for Metro Mobility.

In December, a computer glitch caused the system to go down for nearly two days. The glitch was fixed and services resumed.

However, this group of advocates met in St. Paul Tuesday night to talk about what they said are slow response times and glitches with the GPS pick-up system.

"The new drivers they probably didn't have the maps that they use. And when they count on the GPS and the GPS goes down, who knows when your ride could get to your house," a community member said.

Metro Mobility is asking people with questions or concerns about the system to show up at 10 a.m. on March 14 at the Amherst Wilder Foundation. The company said they will host a community conversation at that time.
