Commemorative Streets For Twins' HOFers Get New Location

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Twins and the city of Minneapolis found new locations for the two streets commemorating the Twins' Hall of Famers, Kirby Puckett and Rod Carew.

Kirby Puckett Place and Rod Carew Drive will be relocated next to Target Field.

The streets were originally next to the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, where the Twins' played until 2010.

Second Avenue North, from Seventh Street North to Sixth Street North will now be Rod Carew Drive.

Seventh Street North from just east of Tenth Street North to Second Avenue North will be Kirby Puckett Place.
