Columbia Heights Police Seek Suspect In Gas Station Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Columbia Heights Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a suspect in a robbery on Monday at a Super America gas station.

The suspect is seen entering the gas station on surveillance footage shortly after 2 a.m. Authorities say the male was wearing a dark-colored shirt, then left the area in what looked like a light-colored four-door Cadillac or similar vehicle.

Police say the man then returned a short time later on foot, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and robbed the store. Anyone who can identify the man or has information about the incident should call Anoka County Cenrtal Communications at (763) 427-1212.
