Closure Of Westbound I-94 At Lowry Tunnel Canceled

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The scheduled closure of Interstate 94 west at the Lowry Tunnel planned for late Wednesday evening has been canceled.

According to MnDOT spokesman Dave Aeikens, crews were able to complete their work, so the 10 p.m. closure has been canceled.

However, some single-lane overnight closures will still be needed.

There are plans to clean both directions of the tunnel next week, which will require overnight closures.
