Cloquet Teen Stopped By Police After Possible School Threat On Facebook

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 13-year-old Cloquet girl was questioned by police after writing a threatening post on Facebook that turned out to be lyrics from a rap song.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says someone reported the potential threat against South Ridge School to Fond Du Lac police.

The girl was stopped by deputies as she arrived at school, but she explained the post was just lyrics by the rapper Slim Jesus.

She was released to her next of kin, and deputies remained at the school for the start of classes as a precaution.

Criminal charges are being considered by the St. Louis County Attorney's Office.
