Clinton-Led Rally Set For Macalester College

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Democrats are calling on Hillary Rodham Clinton to help build enthusiasm among their voters as re-election bids of Gov. Mark Dayton and Sen. Al Franken near their conclusion.

Clinton is scheduled to lead a get-out-the-vote rally at Macalester College on Thursday. It's ahead of a fundraiser she'll appear at for Dayton later that day.

The afternoon rally featuring the former secretary of state, senator and first lady caps a week of big-name visitors for Democrats. Vice President Joe Biden, first lady Michelle Obama and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren have all been through recently.

Minnesota Republican candidates Jeff Johnson and Mike McFadden appeared with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie earlier this month.
