City Pages Hosts 'Iron Fork' Competition At IMS

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's time again for the big fight! Well, the big food fight.

City Pages' 'Iron Fork' competition is returning.

The competition puts some of Minnesota's best bartenders and chefs head-to-head creating delicious dishes and drinks while benefiting the local fold shelf, Second Harvest Heartland.

The event will take place Thursday at International Market Square in Minneapolis.

For $30 in advance, and $40 at the door, guests will see the competitions, be able to sample food from 25 local restaurants and taste featured beer, wine and liquor.

Last year's event sold out, but tickets are still available for this year.

For a preview of what the event will be like, Mike and Natalie teamed up with two of the best chefs in the state for our own cooking competition.

They were given thirty minutes and one secret ingredient.

The wager? Twenty dollars.

Watch and see who came out as the champion.
