Circle Pines Home Damaged In Early Morning Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Circle Pines home is damaged after an early morning fire Tuesday.

According to Anoka County Sheriff's Office, around 4:30 a.m. fire officials responded to a call of a house fire on the 60 block of Circle Drive.

Upon arrival, firefighters learned the blaze began on the first floor of the single family home.

The homeowner told WCCO her 57-year-old husband was taken to Regions Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

No one else was injured.

Centennial Fire, Lino Lakes Fire Department, Lexington Fire Department and SBM Fire assisted on the scene.

Firefighter said at this time they do not suspect anything suspicious. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
