Chris Rock Coming To Minneapolis With Total Blackout Tour

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – For the first time in nearly a decade, the comedian Chris Rock is headed on tour.

The comedian/writer/director/producer announced Monday his Total Blackout tour, which will hit the road next year.

According to Ticketmaster, Rock will perform March 10 at Minneapolis' Orpheum Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Rock hasn't done a comedy tour in nine years, he said in his announcement. But since his last time on the road, he's "been busy."

In recent years, the 51-year-old performer has starred in and directed films, done voice work and hosted the 88th Academy Awards.
