Wild's Zucker Hosts Benefit For Former Kylie's Kid

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker is hosting a special fundraiser for the family of former Kylie's Kid Tucker Helstrom.

Helstrom, 9, suffered from osteosarcoma. He was diagnosed with the rare form of bone cancer in 2015. He lost his battle with the disease on July 2.

Helstrom loved sports, especially the Wild, and had become fast friends with Zucker during his treatment.

Zucker recently announced he is planning to host a fundraiser for the Helstrom family and the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. The fundraiser will benefit the hospital and children's oncology research.

The benefit will be held at SEVEN Event Destination, located at 700 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, on Thursday, July 21. It will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets cost $145 and guests must be 21 or older.
