Cheap Trick, Soul Asylum Among Performers At Stadium Series Game

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Wild face the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday afternoon as part of the NHL's Stadium Series of outdoor games.

The entertainment lineup leading up to the game was announced Thursday. Soul Asylum will have a pregame performance, Jazmine Sullivan will sing the National Anthem. Cheap Trick will also have a performance during the first intermission of the game.

Officials said along with Minnesota-based Soul Asylum's pregame performance, the University of Minnesota marching band will perform during player introductions and the Minnesota National Guard will be the color guard during the National Anthem. There will also be a flyover featuring two F-16's from the 148th Fighter Wing.

Cheap Trick will perform three songs during the first intermission.

There will also be a salute to the "State of Hockey" during the second intermission, which will honor members of the Minnesota Wild and North Stars.

The Wild and Blackhawks face off at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium.
