Charges Expected In Andover Police Chase

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Charges are expected Thursday after a police pursuit ended in Andover with multiple crashes Wednesday.

Randy Thomas Vaught, 34, is suspected of breaking into a home in Blaine Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's office, Vaught led police on a 12-mile high-speed chase when he fled from the scene in Blaine.

During the pursuit along Highway 65, Vaught crashed into two other vehicles before police could use pit maneuvers to stop him.

Three people suffered minor injuries but are expected to be OK.

Vaught was arrested at the scene. He is being held in Anoka County Jail and is expected to be charged Thursday.
