Celebrities Rally Behind Minnesota's Camp Cambria

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Some Minnesota hockey players traded their sticks for golf clubs Monday to tee off against juvenile arthritis.

Zach Parise, TJ Oshie and Mark Parrish, along with other athletes, took part in the annual Cambria Classic at Hazeltine National Golf Club.

The tournament benefits Camp Cambria.

Camp Cambria is camp for children with juvenile arthritis. Children ages 8 to 17 will experience the free, six-day camp from Aug. 9 to 14.

The camp is held on the grounds of Camp Courage -- a campsite west of the Twin Cities metro specifically designed for children with physical disabilities.

Actress, author and Cambria ambassador Mariel Hemingway is just one of the many celebrities giving their time to support this cause.

She joined WCCO This Morning to discuss Camp Cambria and how to help.
