Carlton Co. Sheriff: 50-Year-Old Man Injured In ATV Rollover

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing his ATV in Blackhoof on Friday, according to the Carlton County Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred around 5 p.m. Friday on the 3500 block of County Road 13. The 50-year-old driver, from Woodbury, was found unable to move at the scene. Authorities said he was heading northbound when he left the roadway and rolled over.

The 2006 Arctic Cat ATV was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The driver was transported to Essentia Health with serious injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, the sheriff's office said.
