3 Extricated From Car Pinned Under Semi Trailer In NE Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police say three people were extricated from a vehicle found trapped underneath a semi trailer in northeast Minneapolis overnight.

Around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a truck yard near 27th Avenue and Second Street. An Audi was pinned underneath a 26-foot trailer.

Police said the driver got out on his own, but three others were "badly injured" and need to be removed through the trunk.

Police said two people are listed in critical condition, but expected to survive. There was no word on the severity of the third person's injuries.
