Bomb Threat Leads To Evacuation At Cannon Falls High School Concert

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Concert goers were evacuated from Cannon Falls High School Friday night after someone found a bomb threat note in a bathroom.

Police say they were called to the school at about 7:20 p.m. during a fundraising concert for the Sheppard Center.

The entire building was evacuated while the Goodhue County Sheriff's Office, and police from Cannon Falls and Rochester, conducted a search with the help of a bomb-sniffing K-9 officer.

No threat was detected, and the concert continued. Investigators believe the note was left to be found during school hours.

Anyone with information about this threat is asked to call Cannon Falls Police at 507-263-2278.
