Can Minneapolis Claim Bragging Rights ... On Bragging?

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Those who live here already know the Twin Cities are one of the greatest places to live. But now, the mayor of Minneapolis wants you to forget "Minnesota Nice" and brag a little.

Mayor Betsy Hodges is calling it the "Best Week of Bragging Ever!" She wants Minnesotans to take to social media and start boasting about home.

If you're on Twitter, the Mayor wants you to use the hashtag #bragMPLS.

If you're an Instagram user, Hodges is asking you to take pictures at iconic places and show them off.

The winner who brags the most wins lunch with the Mayor.
