Cabin, Sheds Destroyed In Northern Minnesota Wildfire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A wildfire burning in northern Minnesota has grown to cover more than 900 acres.

A lightning strike started the fire Sunday near Bezhik Lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, northwest of Ely. While the U.S. Forest Service says the fire has destroyed one cabin and three outbuildings, no injuries have been reported.

Recent rains have slowed the growth of the fire, but as of the latest update, the blaze is only about 10$% contained.
