Burnsville Man Accused Of Sexual Conduct With Girl, 11

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Burnsville, Minn. man faces a criminal sexual conduct charge after being accused of giving alcohol to and sexual touching an 11-year-old girl.

According to the Dakota County Attorney's Office, 31-year-old Joseph John Felton was charged Thursday with one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The charge stems from an incident that took place in early April, when an 11-year-old girl told her parents that Felton gave her alcohol, and then later touched her body while kissing her lips and neck in the bedroom of his Burnsville residence.

Felton told investigators he drank alcohol that evening and gave the girl a sip, but he doesn't remember any sexual activity taking place.

He could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
