Brooklyn Park Man, 27, Killed In South Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say a 27-year-old Brooklyn Park man died Sunday morning in a shooting in south Minneapolis.

Minneapolis police responded to the area of Pillsbury Avenue South just north of Lake Street West just before 2 a.m. on a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found the body of an adult man who had died.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim Tuesday as Abdiaziz Salah Farah. He died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

Minneapolis Police said the incident remains under investigation and they are seeking at least one suspect in the case. Authorities said the incident was not random.
