Boy On Bicycle Struck And Killed On Duluth Street

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Duluth police say a 6-year-old boy was killed when he was struck by a van while crossing a street on his bicycle.

A police news release says it happened around 3:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the initial investigation determined that a 45-year-old Duluth woman was driving down the street when her van struck the boy. He was pronounced dead at a Duluth hospital. His name has not been released

The news release says the driver showed no signs of impairment.
