Vikings Get Starters Boone, Kendricks Back From Concussions

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Two Minnesota Vikings starters, left guard Alex Boone and middle linebacker Eric Kendricks, have returned to practice after missing the last game because of concussions.

Boone and Kendricks were on the field Wednesday. Backup guard Zac Kerin, who was out last week against Detroit because of a hand injury, was also back at practice on a limited basis to help put the offensive line closer to full strength.

Nickel cornerback Captain Munnerlyn and punt returner Marcus Sherels were missing, though, after suffering ankle injuries and leaving the game against the Lions. Sherels missed the Oct. 31 game at Chicago with a wrist injury. Nose tackle Linval Joseph (shoulder) was also held out of practice with a new injury.
