Body Recovered From Mississippi River In Little Falls ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A body was recovered from the Mississippi River in the city of Little Falls Sunday, city officials said.

According to the Little Falls Police Department, Morrison and Stearns County Water Rescue Teams recovered the body of a man from the Mississippi River near the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge.

On early Monday afternoon, authorities identified the body as 34-year-old William Lee Blake of Little Falls, who was reported missing on Oct. 16, 2015. He was last seen when he was dropped off near the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge on the evening of Oct. 14.

Blake's body has been transferred to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.
