Savage Police: Man's Body Pulled From Retaining Pond

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Savage police and the BCA are investigating after the body of a man was pulled from a retaining pond Friday.

At 10:55 a.m., police said they received a report of a body in the middle of a holding pond located at the back of a Target Store on Highway 13 in Savage.

The Savage Fire Department then recovered the body of a man from the water.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office will be making the identification of the body and determine an official cause of death.
