Body Of Missing Wis. Fisherman Recovered

LYNXVILLE, Wis. (AP) — The body of a fisherman missing for more than two weeks has been recovered from the Mississippi River in Crawford County.

Sixty-four-year-old Roger Goodell had been missing and presumed drowned since he disappeared from his boat Oct. 11.

Two boaters spotted his body over the weekend north of Prairie du Chien. Authorities believe Goodell may have been trapped under a lock and dam roller gate. That gate was recently lifted and Goodell's body was found two days later.
