Body Of Boy, 11, Recovered From Blue Earth River

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have recovered the body of an 11-year-old boy from the Blue Earth River after he went missing over the weekend.

Denilson Fidel Funes De Leon was reportedly swimming with other children Saturday evening when it appeared he was pulled into deeper water by the current. Crews found his body Monday afternoon.

The boy's body was found approximately one mile downriver from where he was last seen near Rapidan County Park.
