Police: Body Found In Stillwater Pond
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A young man is dead after an apparent motorized scooter accident and drowning near a Stillwater golf course.
Stillwater police say they were called to Brown's Creek Trail near McKusick Road Saturday at about 8:15 a.m. on a report of a body spotted face down in the creek.
Officers found a scooter nearby, which appeared to have left the trail. Investigators believe the driver was in his late teens or early twenties.
Foul play is not believed to be a factor in this case. The Washington County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the investigation.
