Sheriff: Body Found In Swamp Near Proctor

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A body was discovered Tuesday in a St. Louis County swamp.

The sheriff's office says the body was found near Proctor by Stark Road and North Ugstad Road, near the Canadian National Railyard.

Rescue crews had to use special all-terrain vehicles to navigate the tough terrain.

The Midwest Medical Examiner's office is working to identify the remains and determine the cause of death.

The sheriff's office is investigating.
